Camping is a Way of Life

If you're from Brown County, like we are, camping is sort of a way of life, as we live in the county.  Growing up, I managed to sell enough vegetable and flower seeds to neighbors to win a coleman barbeque from the company prize catalog, as well as earn some commission and learn some valuable sales skills.

We wore that little barbeque out with our backyard barbeques, We also did a lot of what you might call 'primitive camping', meaning we played in the surrounding forest.  Today, thousands of people come to Brown County year round to camp, hike, ride and enjoy.  If you're planning on coming to Brown County to camp, we prepared a little checklist you might find handy.
